BLMA announces several new HO- & N-scale ACF F89-J 89' Flat Cars in PTTX paint and configurations. PTTX flat cars were designed to carry pipe; and lots of it! The F89-J, 89' Flat
Cars were built in the late 1960's for intermodal service. By the 90's, Trailer Train Company found another use for the "89-J" and its flat brethren through the PTTX re-purpose
program. Fitted with wood crossbeams, the PTTX fleet was designed to accommodate pipe and bulk loads of varying diameter and weight. Featuring new, side-mounted brake rigging
and other PTTX-specific detail, these models roam the rails today, delivering pipe and bulk loads all over North America.

TTX ACF F89-J Flat Cars
BLMA is announcing the third release of the F89-J yellow Trailer Train TTX flat car. Built for TTX by ACF between 1966-68, the visually unique F89-J flat car was produced for
TOFC service. Easily identified as a common assert in the vast TTX car fleet, over 1,600 F89-J's haul trailers, pipe, rail, bulk loads, and hundred remain in service even today.

ACF 52' 70-ton Gondola
These, previously-announced, ACF 70-Ton 52' Gondolas are now in. First produced in 1948 for Pennsylvania Railroad as class G31, PRR purchased 11,600 welded cars of this body style
in the G31/G31A/G31B/G35, serving the "Standard Railroad of the World" in every corner of North America in many customer applications. If you model somewhere in North America,
you can use a PRR model! Besides PRR, several other railroads also purchased these gondolas from ACF, and some former PRR cars were purchased second-hand by various railroads.
Most of these gondolas were phased from revenue service during the 1990's.
